| Porcelain Veneers . . . | ||||
|
Tooth veneers, the thin porcelain layers placed on the front of teeth, can be done on just one or a number of teeth. Generally people have tooth veneers done on their front teeth. These are obviously the teeth that people notice the most and show when you smile. What is Involved in getting Tooth Veneers? The first visit generally involves removing a thin layer of enamel from your teeth. This is so that the veneers will fit and look natural. If enamel were not removed the tooth veneers would feel bulky and uncomfortable. After an impression of your teeth has been made on the first visit, the second visit will involve fitting the veneers. Each tooth veneer is bonded to the front and biting edges of the natural tooth. When completed the new look will be stronger and whiter! |
